在这张“半长”概念专辑中，表情银行又一次把自己探索的边界推远了一些。乐队称这张专辑是“prog pop”风格，因为无论音乐或文本，他们都在试图用串起一个相对完整的线索。该“半长”专辑只有4首歌，却长达20多分钟，单听每首歌都是indie pop/indie rock方向，但整体听来具有很多前卫摇滚的特点：歌与歌之间有紧密关联，4首歌都在同一个调上，不同歌曲中埋藏着相互呼应的乐段与歌词，编曲配器带着前摇特色，同时还有大幅度变速的段落。

丁丁历险记系列有一部叫作《黑岛》，封面上丁丁驾驶着小船，带着他最好的朋友小狗米卢，驶向前方未知的岛屿。一点点紧张，很多好奇，很多兴奋。

而表情银行的的这张新专叫作《嘿！岛》，它创作于2022年的冬天，依然是乐队几位成员在排练室中Jam出来的，但比起《狗日子》，这次的Jam更激烈更明确，这张专辑也因此更炙热也更明亮。在一场属于全人类的大型孤独过后，人们渴望着其他的人类。想要不顾一切地靠近，即使对方是座未知的黑岛。于是从“只要你在我的身边，我就愿与死亡和解”到“你的心是朦胧的岛屿，但没关系，我愿意试试”再到“原来你是个狙击手，为什么要瞄准我呢？”直到最后“在超越绝望的远方，比希望更远的地方，我等着你，拥抱你”

“人人都在说享受孤独吧，但对我来说这一直很难。我不能享受孤独漂泊在汪洋中的感觉，我需要登陆我的岛，哪怕是座一切都未知的黑岛。”
